Founded by Gianfranco Cecchi and Giuliano Pecchia near Florence, Sanlorenzo quickly gained international acclaim with the launch of its first fibreglass hull, the SL57, in 1985. Building on this momentum, the yard continued to innovate with the introduction of the SL100 in 1995, a superyacht that helped solidify the shipyard’s position in the yachting market. Under the leadership of Massimo Perotti since 2005, Sanlorenzo has continued to evolve, expanding its range and capabilities while preserving its legacy of Italian craftsmanship.
