Sanlorenzo 52Steel Yachts for Sale

Introduced in 2017 as the successor to the 46Steel, the Sanlorenzo 52Steel is the second largest model in the Italian shipyard’s Steel range and an award-winning superyacht that has set a benchmark in its class.

Built from steel and aluminium across five decks, she measures 52 metres in length with a beam of 9.3 metres and a draught of 2.9 metres, offering an internal volume of 466GT. Featuring an exterior design by Mauro Micheli from Officina Italiana Design, the interiors are fully customisable to owner specification, with many having worked with Tiziana Vercellesi. The exterior profile of the 52Steel is defined by an exceptional use of glass throughout the superstructure, a deliberate choice that allows natural light to filter through the interiors whilst maintaining a refined, contemporary silhouette. The arrangement of the 52Steel places particular emphasis on the aft sections of the decks. On the main deck aft, a glass-bottomed infinity pool serves as both a visual centrepiece and a functional device, filtering light directly into the beach club below. The beach club is one of the 52Steel’s most defining features: a convertible space with folding terraces and a controlled flooding system that transforms it into a float-in tender garage. An adjacent wellness area and fully equipped gym add to her leisure offering. Forward on the main deck, a lounge furnished with Paola Lenti pieces provides additional social space alongside a dining area, whilst the sundeck is arranged to encourage both relaxation and entertaining. The 52Steel can accommodate up to 12 guests across six ensuite staterooms, including a forward main deck owner’s suite with a private study, two lower-deck double staterooms, and three lower-deck twin staterooms, with crew quarters for nine. Powered by twin Caterpillar 3512C engines, the 52Steel has a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 12.5 knots.
