Introduced to the industry at the 2020 Genoa Boat Show as the flagship of Sanlorenzo’s groundbreaking SX range, the SX112 underscores the ongoing development of the series’ crossover concept.
Measuring 34.16 m in length, with an 8.00 m beam and a shallow draught of 1.49 m, the SX112 distinguishes herself in her class by seeking new ways to erase the boundaries between yacht and sea. Designed by Bernardo Zuccon from Studio Zuccon International, the SX112’s bold exterior includes sculptural lines and expansive windows that evoke a sense of floating architecture. The minimalist interior design, created by Piero Lissoni, pairs Japanese elegance with premium Italian materials. Inside, the SX112’s main deck is anchored by a spacious salon forward, intended for entertainment and relaxation, with floor-to-ceiling glass passages that open directly onto the aft beach club. A versatile space, it sits at the heart of her innovative layout, with folding terraces expanding the main deck stern into a sprawling leisure area connected to her interiors by sliding glass windows. A key feature onboard the SX112 is the signature spiral glass staircase that leads upward, visually connecting the main deck to the flybridge and lower accommodations. The flybridge serves as a compelling social area, while the optional swim platform further enhances access to the open waters. Able to accommodate up to ten guests across five well-appointed ensuite staterooms, this includes an owner’s suite forward on the main deck, two VIP suites, a twin and a double stateroom on the lower deck, with additional quarters for five crew. Powered by four Volvo IPS D13 pods delivering 1,000 hp each, the SX112 has a top speed of 23 knots, with a cruising speed of around 20 knots.
