Based in Istanbul, Turkey, Turquoise Yachts specialises in the construction of custom steel and aluminium superyachts ranging from 40 to 90 metres in length. Operating out of two strategically located shipyards in Pendik and Kocaeli, this Turkish builder is dedicated to delivering first-class quality superyachts, with bespoke design, advanced engineering, and artisanal interiors.
Turquoise Yachts’ roots trace back to the 1970s, when the shipyard began building some of the country’s first yachts under the Proteksan and Turquoise brands, establishing the foundation for what would become one of Europe’s leading custom superyacht manufacturers. The shipyard gained significant momentum in 2014 when MB Holding acquired a majority stake, providing the financial backing and strategic direction that further solidified Turquoise Yachts’ position in the yacht market. This investment enabled the yard to continuously upgrade its facilities and processes across both shipyards whilst maintaining its commitment to delivering only the highest quality vessels. To better support its international clientele from the USA, UK, Europe, and Russia, Turquoise Yachts operates out of additional offices in Monaco and Fort Lauderdale alongside technical support from its Istanbul headquarters. Outside of offering new builds, the yard offers extensive refit services and customisation programmes for yachts built at any shipyard. Turquoise Yachts’ fleet includes an impressive range of delivered projects, including the 77-metre GO designed by H2 Yacht Design, the elegant 55.9-metre Blue II by Hoek Design, and the iconic 72.6-metre Quantum of Solace. Most recently, Turquoise delivered its largest build to date, the 79-metre Nympheas in January 2025, featuring neo-classical styling by Harrison Eidsgaard.
