The Tankoa T55 Sportiva is a 55-metre aluminium superyacht from Italian shipyard Tankoa designed to push the boundaries of outdoor entertainment and socialising on a platform within the sub-500GT category.
Measuring 55 metres in length, with a beam of 9 metres and a draught of 2.4 metres, with 499 GT. Her exterior design and contemporary interior design are by Francesco Paszkowski Design in collaboration with Margherita Casprini, who worked together to create aerodynamic, elongated, and motorsport-influenced exterior lines that conceal an unusually rich amenity offering within a sleek, restrained profile. The “Nemo room” is a focal point of the T55 Sportiva design, positioned below the waterline with a half-submerged hull window that provides an immersive view directly into the sea. The main deck aft features a plunge pool with a hydraulic floor that converts into a dance floor with glazed port and starboard balconies creating a sheltered social zone. A grand mirrored staircase on both sides connects the aft deck to the levels above. The sundeck features an infinity-edge hot tub, a grill and bar, and expansive lounging areas. The owner’s suite, positioned forward on the main deck, offers its own private exterior terrace with a jacuzzi through full-height sliding doors. Tankoa T55 Sportiva can accommodate twelve guests across six ensuite staterooms.
Five ensuite VIP staterooms on the lower deck. Forward, a 3,000-kilogram hydraulic crane doubles as the required forward mast on a vessel exceeding 50 metres. The T55 Sportiva accommodates up to 12 guests across six staterooms, with crew quarters for ten. Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines producing 1,193hp each, she has a top speed of 17.5 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots, and a range of 3,800 nautical miles at 12 knots.
