The Sanlorenzo 50Steel, announced in 2022 and launched in 2024, is a 50-metre semi-displacement superyacht from Sanlorenzo’s iconic Steel range.
Measuring 50 metres in length, with a 9.40-metre beam and a 2.96-metre draught, she offers a sub-500GT volume with Sanlorenzo’s patented ‘Hidden Engine Room’ layout and introduced the industry’s first green methanol reformer fuel cell system on a superyacht. The Sanlorenzo 50Steel features an exterior design by Zuccon International Project, with interiors created by Piero Lissoni.
The Sanlorenzo 50Steel’s exterior styling is defined by clean, balanced lines and a restrained profile that conceals a highly unconventional internal arrangement. The interior layout is organised across staggered levels, allowing spaces to feel interconnected without disrupting the Sanlorenzo’s 50Steel external proportions. By reconfiguring the engine room horizontally, Sanlorenzo was able to free up substantial space on the main and lower deck aft to create a split-level ocean lounge and beach club with a glass-fronted pool and folding sea terraces. Other key features onboard the Sanlorenzo 50Steel include the main deck salon and formal dining area with ceiling heights up to 3.35 metres, and the second lounge on the upper deck with sweeping views of the surroundings. Standout amenities onboard include a gym, a spa area, and a second pool on the sun deck. The Sanlorenzo 50Steel is able to accommodate up to ten guests across five ensuite staterooms, including the owner’s suite forward on the main deck and four staterooms on the lower deck. Powered by twin MAN D2862-LE489 engines, she has a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12.5 knots.
