Making her international debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2020, the Sanlorenzo 44Alloy represents a significant evolution in the Italian shipyard’s design heritage.
The first 44 metre superyacht made entirely from aluminium, she builds on the successful platform of the 40Alloy. Measuring 44.5 metres in length, with a beam of 9 metres and a draught of 2.3 metres, this fast displacement superyacht showcases the innovative vision of Zuccon International Project, who penned both her exterior and interior design. Her profile combines sleek, sculptural lines with expansive glazing, blending modern aesthetics with functionality. The distinctive cut-outs in the bulwarks not only enhance her sporty profile but also flood the interiors with natural light, offering panoramic views from the main and upper decks. One of the main standout features of the 44Alloy’s design is the owner’s suite, a groundbreaking 147-square-metre private apartment spread across three interconnected levels. Including both dedicated indoor and outdoor areas complete with a private pool, a dedicated gym, and a spa/wellness lounge, this design addition is rarely seen in a superyacht in this size class. The 44Alloy’s layout further enhances easy indoor-outdoor living, with retractable balconies and terraces by the beach club and main deck that blur the boundaries between interior and exterior. Able to accommodate up to ten guests across five ensuite staterooms, including the expansive owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck, crew quarters for up to nine members are located forward on the same deck. Powered by twin MTU 16v 2000 M96L engines, the 44Alloy has a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots.
