Seawolf X is the inaugural model from Italian shipyard Rossinavi’s Sea Cat series, a range of eco-conscious, high-autonomy cruising catamarans.
Said to be one of the most technically ambitious hybrid-electric catamarans in the global fleet, she measures 42.8 metres in length with a beam of 13.75 metres and a draught of just 1.85 metres, with 499 GT. Seawolf X features a modern exterior design by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design, with complementary interiors by New York-based Meyer Davis Studio and naval architecture by Rossi Engineering Design & Services. Unique to Seawolf X is her hybrid-electric propulsion system, managed by Videoworks AI software, which continuously optimises energy consumption across three operational modes: full electric for day passages, 90 percent electric for multi-day cruising, and 80 percent electric for transatlantic range, achieving up to 5,400 nautical miles at 8 knots. Integrated solar panels across the low-profile superstructure contribute to onboard generation, and a hibernation mode when at anchor reduces hotel load to a minimum, with the ability to return surplus energy to a shoreside grid or villa.
The clean and purposefully understated exterior design pairs well with the calm interiors, inspired by the 1 Hotel South Beach in Miami, which feature natural materials like stone, leather, and raffia throughout to create warm, textural spaces that strike a balance between sustainability and comfort. Key features onboard Seawolf X include a 100-square-metre main deck lounge that converts to an open-air cinema and a hidden pool in the bow. The Seawolf X accommodates up to 12 guests across five staterooms, including a main-deck owner’s suite, supported by seven to nine crew. She has a top speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots.
