The Perini Navi 60m is a series of custom aluminium sailing yachts from Perini Navi, developed in collaboration with naval architect Ron Holland.
Designed to offer owners high-performance ocean sailing without a specialist crew, the series is built around Perini Navi’s proprietary Sail Management System, which integrates advanced furling and sail-handling technology to simplify operation considerably. Measuring 60 metres in length, with a beam of 11.4 metres and a draught of 4.3 metres, she offers 491GT. With four hulls delivered, the latest hull in the series, Katana, is equipped with carbon fibre masts and rigging supplied by Southern Spars, a structural carbon bowsprit, and a retractable keel that supports performance in shallow-water anchorages. A dynamic positioning system allows station-keeping without anchoring, adding additional operational and environmental flexibility. Interiors for the Perini Navi 60m are either in-house by the shipyard, with the interior design on the award-winning Katana created by French designer Rémi Tessier and built by German specialist firm Metrica. The Perini Navi 60m accommodates up to ten guests across six staterooms, including an owner’s suite and five guest cabins, with quarters for ten crew. Auxiliary propulsion details vary by hull.
