Numarine is a Turkish shipyard based in Gebze, on the outskirts of Istanbul, that specialises in the construction of semi-custom explorer yachts ranging from 18 to 45 metres in length.
Founded in 2002 by entrepreneur Ömer Malaz, he established the shipyard to help fill what he saw as a gap in the market for well-engineered, long-range yachts that balanced comfort with quality. The shipyard operates out of a 35,000-square-metre production facility, which houses dedicated workshops for metalwork, cabinetry, upholstery, and glasswork. Vertically integrated, Numarine has an annual capacity of up to 50 hulls, deploying advanced construction techniques drawn from the aviation and racing industries, including vacuum infusion and composite lamination, alongside traditional craftsmanship to ensure consistency in quality among its new builds. In addition, Numarine is the first international brand from Turkey to receive the Turquality label, a government-backed certification recognising internationally competitive Turkish brands.
Numarine’s current offering includes its XP series of explorer yachts, which spans the 22XP through to the 47MXP, and the XPC Series, consisting of the 38XPC and the 39MXPC. The XP series is best known for its long-range capabilities, with the largest four models in the range offering a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles at 8 to 9 knots, and its spacious interior combined with additional amenities such as bow pools in owner’s suites. The XPC Series offers a similar range, with a more classic and elegant exterior design. The shipyard currently counts 71 yachts in its global fleet, with 14 hulls under construction, according to the latest data from SYTIQ.
