Established in 1981, Moonen Yachts has built a solid reputation in the industry for its high-quality craftsmanship, custom offerings and innovation. In 2019, yachting enthusiasts Matthew and Louise Baxter acquired the shipyard, infusing it with renewed vigour and solid financial support. The acquisition marked a new chapter in Moonen’s history, reinforcing its position in the market for the highest quality long-range yachts with steel hulls and aluminium superstructures. Launching over 80 yachts since its inception, Moonen is renowned for its personalised approach to yacht design and building. The shipyard prides itself on delivering only two yachts annually, ensuring each project receives the utmost care and precision. Moonen’s legacy is further enhanced by its comprehensive in-house capabilities, including metalwork, carpentry, and outfitting, all conducted in state-of-the-art facilities. The yard’s current lineup of semi-custom models includes the Martinique series (110 and 122), which provide versatile platforms for personalised touches. Some of the most notable yachts from the yard to date include its first yacht delivered, the 32.1-metre M/Y Lady M and the 41.7-metre M/Y Serenity.
