The flagship model of Mangusta’s GranSport series, the Mangusta GranSport 54, was first announced to the press in 2018 before making her debut at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival.
Measuring 54 metres in length with a 9.01-metre beam and 2.30-metre draught, she features an all-aluminium construction. Her exterior and interior design are by Italian designer Alberto Mancini, with naval architecture by Pierluigi Ausonio. Combining aggressive sporting aesthetics with transatlantic cruising capabilities, the GranSport 54’s distinctive profile reflects her sporting DNA through sharply defined lines and muscular proportions. Mancini’s interior design philosophy focuses on enhancing indoor-outdoor connectivity, incorporating floor-to-ceiling glazing that floods living spaces with natural light. The Mangusta GranSport 54 tri-deck layout is designed to maximise entertainment possibilities, featuring expansive sun deck areas with dedicated dining facilities and relaxation zones. The infinity pool located forward on the upper deck incorporates a transparent floor element, creating dramatic visual effects whilst allowing daylight to filter into the owner’s accommodation below. Another key feature onboard the Mangusta GranSport 54 is the comprehensive fold-out balcony by the owner’s suite on the main deck. Additional features include a generous beach club configuration with tri-fold opening platforms, providing unrestricted access to water-based activities and tender operations. The Mangusta GranSport 54 can accommodate ten guests across five stunningly appointed staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite forward on the main deck, and four additional ensuite staterooms on the lower deck. Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 diesel engines, she has a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots.
