Lürssen Custom 90m+ Yachts for Sale

A custom builder through and through, German shipyard Lürssen only builds bespoke projects on commission, usually 80 metres or more in length.

A custom Lürssen 90-metre-plus superyacht. It does not follow any standard platform or hull, starting each project from scratch and allowing the owner to appoint their own exterior and interior designers who work closely with Lürssen’s in-house naval architects to develop the superyacht from a blank sheet. What defines a custom Lürssen 90m-plus superyacht is her engineering, more than her exterior styling. For example, the 90.1m Ice, delivered in 2005, features a design by Tim Heywood and interiors by Terence Disdale, while the 91m Lady Lara has an exterior and interior design by Reymond Langton. Featuring a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, these custom superyachts from Lürssen offer internal volumes between 2,945 and 3,268 GT. Ice was the first superyacht fitted with electric Azipod thrusters and was engineered for unusually low noise, vibration, and emissions, while Lady Lara’s design conceals her hardware entirely, with ventilation slotted into the superstructure curves and more than a kilometre of architectural lighting. Accommodation onboard custom Lürssen 90m-plus superyachts usually ranges from 12 to 16 guests across six to eight ensuite staterooms, with crews of 27 or 28.
