The Heesen 60m Steel is a new class of steel hull and aluminium superstructure superyachts from Dutch shipyard Heesen.
Measuring 60.4 metres in length with a beam of 10.9 metres and a draught of 3.35 metres, she features an internal volume of approximately 1,060GT. The Heesen 60m Steel features an exterior design by Omega Architects, with a striking multi-faceted sculptural styling referred to as the bird’s wing, that visually integrates the main, bridge, and sundeck across the profile without interrupting the continuous horizontal glazing lines. The interior design is completely customisable, depending on the owner’s preferences and specifications. Her silhouette is characterised by curved edges and floor-to-ceiling glazing, with lowered bulwarks and aft doors that maximise natural light and panoramic sightlines throughout the interior. The general arrangement of the Heesen 60m Steel prioritises privacy through separated guest and crew circulation routes, with dedicated service stairs and additional dry and cold storage on the tank deck supporting a crew of 15. Available in several configurations, options include conversion of the foredeck to a helipad and the addition of a VIP suite on the bridge deck aft. The Heesen 60m Steel can accommodate up to 12 guests across six ensuite staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite, four double staterooms, and one VIP suite. Powered by twin MTU 8V 4000 M63 IMO Tier III engines, the Heesen 60m Steel has a top speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots.
