Fincantieri Yachts, based out of the Muggiano shipyard near La Spezia, Italy, specialises in the construction of custom steel and aluminium superyachts ranging from 70 to over 140 metres in length.
Founded in 2005 as a dedicated division of Fincantieri S.p.A., the shipyard leverages more than two centuries of naval and commercial shipbuilding expertise. Fincantieri’s achievements include landmark engineering milestones such as the transatlantic record-breaking 67-metre Destriero and the deep-sea bathyscaphe Trieste, next to the development of advanced submarine and naval programmes. Fincantieri Yachts launched in the superyacht sector decisively with the delivery of the 134-metre Serene in 2011, followed by the 140-metre Ocean Victory in 2014, Italy’s largest yacht at the time. Today, Fincantieri Yachts operates within a secure, 60,000-square-metre covered facility at Muggiano, supported by a state-of-the-art climate-controlled construction hall designed for large-scale projects. In addition to new builds, Fincantieri provides full lifecycle support, including refits, conversions, warranty services, and major upgrades through facilities in both La Spezia and Trieste.Fincantieri Yachts works with a dedicated Yacht Design Centre next to collaborating closely with internationally recognised studios, while also developing proprietary concepts as starting points for bespoke projects.
