The 714th hull built by the Dutch shipyard, Faith showcases an exterior design by British studio RWD, with interiors by Paris-based Chahan Interior Design and RWD, and naval architecture by De Voogt. Described by Feadship as “a gentleman’s yacht that exemplifies timeless elegance and technical innovation,” she features a deep-blue steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with a sculpted profile. With a beam of 13.60 metres and a draught of 3.85 metres, she incorporates advanced technology developed by the shipyard under the Advanced Electrical Drive (FAED) program. Her diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system builds on the groundwork of the 84.2m Obsidian, offering 4.5 times more electrical storage capacity than Feadship’s first, and the world’s first hybrid propulsion superyacht, Savannah, enabling quiet, efficient cruising. Instead of conventional drive shafts and rudders, a contra-rotating thruster arrangement reduces drag and vibration; its pods and propellers are refined through extensive computational fluid dynamics analysis for maximum onboard comfort. Key features of Faith include a to-and-go helipad on the foredeck with a hangar, a jacuzzi on the sun deck, a games deck, and a glass-bottomed swimming pool on the stern of the main deck that allows natural light to filter down into the expansive beach club. Faith can reportedly accommodate between 12 and 14 guests. Powered by twin Veth contra-rotating hybrid units, she has a top speed of 16 knots, with a range of 6,000 knots at 12 knots.
