Bilgin Yachts is a family-owned Turkish shipyard based in Istanbul, specialising in the construction of semi-custom and custom steel and aluminium superyachts ranging from 50 to over 120 metres in length.
Originally founded in 1929 by Hüseyin Bey, the shipyard first began building traditional wooden imperial caiques along the Bosphorus before opening a private workshop in 1957 and turning its focus to constructing leisure boats, and thereby setting the course for its eventual entry into the superyacht category. Today, Bilgin Yacht is led by the fifth generation of the founding family, operating across more than 79,000 square metres of facilities spread across Istanbul, Yalova, Küçükçekmece, Beylikdüzü, and Antalya, including a dedicated 40,000-square-metre hull and superstructure facility in Yalova capable of accommodating five simultaneous projects. Bilgin Yachts is also a member of the Superyacht Builders Association and was recognised as Turkey’s leading superyacht exporter in the 24-metre-plus category, most recently honoured at the 2025 Export Awards. Building yachts on speculation, current models in the Bilgin Yachts lineup include the flagship model, the 82m Bilgin 270, Bilgin 243, the Bilgin 176, the Bilgin 173, and the Bilgin 170. Some of Bilgin Yachts’ most notable deliveries to date include the award-winning Leona, Tatiana, and Al Reem, 80-metre Bilgin 263 models. Bilgin Yachts currently has 47 yachts in its global fleet, with 14 hulls under construction according to the latest data from SYTIQ.
