Making her world debut in May 2023 in Portofino, the Baglietto T52 marks the Italian shipyard’s inaugural venture into hybrid propulsion technology.
Measuring 52 metres in length with a 9.50-metre beam and 2.50-metre draught, her exterior styling and interior design are the work of Francesco Paszkowski Design in collaboration with Margherita Casprini. Featuring a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure, this 497 GT superyacht distinguishes herself through battery-electric capabilities and a three-level beach club configuration. The T52’s exterior profile balances classical proportions with contemporary detailing across her multiple deck levels. Her interior styling includes neutral tones and natural textures throughout, with panoramic glazing connecting internal spaces to the surrounding environment. Her interior layout features formal salons, dining zones and casual lounges designed for varied social situations. One of the key features onboard the T52 is her 3.7-metre main aft deck pool with a hydraulic floor system that converts the space into an additional living area when raised. The sundeck offers 135 square metres, incorporating a bar, glass-fronted dip pool, and foredeck access via retractable steps. The upper deck features a “pergola” concept with retractable glass panels on three sides, creating a climate-controlled environment transitioning between enclosed and open-air configurations. Additional amenities include a fully equipped gym, tender garage, and swimming platform. The T52 is able to accommodate up to 12 guests across five ensuite staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite forward on the main deck, two double and two configurable staterooms on the lower deck, with quarters for nine crew members. Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M86 engines, the T52 has a top speed of 17 knots and cruising speed of 11 knots, whilst hybrid diesel-electric mode gives her an impressive range of 7,800 nautical miles at 6 knots.
