The Azimut Grande 30M, revealed in 2023 and set to make her global debut in 2025, is a significant addition to Azimut’s Grande series.
Measuring 29.63 metres in length, she features an exterior design by Alberto Mancini and interiors by Milan-based studio m²atelier, marking their inaugural collaboration with Azimut. Built extensively out of carbon fibre and equipped with an innovative POD propulsion system, the Grande 30M is classified as one of Azimut’s “Low Emission Yachts,” using less fuel and emitting 20 to 30 percent less CO₂ emissions compared to models of similar size. Key features onboard the Grande 30M exterior include the Infinity Skydeck, a full walkaround upper deck that seamlessly connects the stern to the bow, strengthening the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The Glass House on the upper deck features fully disappearing full-height windows, transforming the area into an open-air veranda that unites the aft lounge with the forward-facing infinity pool. Additionally, the Deck2Deck Terrace cleverly extends the cockpit by raising the teak hatch of the garage, creating a true terrace over the sea. For her interior, m²atelier created welcoming yet informal spaces that invite owners and guests to relax and feel at home. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows let natural light flood the interiors, while an internal staircase allows light to cascade from the upper deck to the main deck. Able to accommodate up to 10 guests in five brilliantly-appointed staterooms, including a master suite forward on the main deck, she can also house a crew of six, providing a white-glove onboard experience. Powered by two MAN V12 engines with POD drives, she achieves a top speed of up to 28 knots and a cruising speed of approximately 22 knots.
Innovative Heritage: Azimut was among the first shipyards to introduce large frameless windows, enhancing natural light and providing panoramic views, a feature that has become a hallmark of modern yacht design.
Cutting-Edge Materials: The shipyard was among the first to utilise fibreglass for mass production, notably with the AZ 43′ Bali, revolutionising yacht construction.
Sustainability Initiatives: The Seadeck series incorporates hybrid propulsion and more eco-friendly materials, highlighting the yard’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
Legacy & Forward Thinking: From its origins as a boat chartering service, Azimut’s strategic acquisition of Benetti and its continuous innovation, the shipyard has always struck a balance between tradition and an eye toward future growth.
